I really love going here. The fish is always fresh. I would love for them to add special rolls to the menu. It's very boring. We eat there a lot so just would like fun rolls to pick from

My mom and I stopped by for lunch the other day, I had heard this was a good spot for Nigiri from a couple friends and wanted to try it. The fish was fresh, uni was by far my favorite! Tuna and salmon were slightly fishy. Service was very nice and the people were friendly! Overall would recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area, Will be coming back to try it for dinner sometime!

I wish I could rate this restaurant 4.5 stars. Parking was a bit difficult. The service was super good; staff was attentive, and I felt cared for. I felt good supporting this business. I lovvvvved the two rolls I ordered. The two I got in particular were great complements to each other, which enriched my experience. They were unique and delicious. While I loved these sushi rolls, my partner would have disliked them because they didn't feel chilled at all. He doesn't like sushi that tastes like it's at room temperature. I think most people would agree with his preferences - but I could be wrong. Since I enjoyed my meal and would love return with my partner sometime, I delicately asked the sushi chef duo if there was anything they could do to make the sushi colder for customers who prefer it. I forgot the exact answer, but it was basically no. (Btw, the sushi I ordered wasn't supposed to be hot, like the way a fried tempura roll is supposed to be hot.) I would come here again. I recommend it if you don't mind lukewarm sushi.

Wow.... What a spot!!! Bring your celiac friends/family as well, they are SUPER careful and have an amazing gluten free selection. It's such a cool vibe. Modern and simple. But the service is what makes them stand out most! Friendly, creating an incredibly welcoming environment while making you feel like the only customer in the restaurant. Can't rave enough!!!!

The BEST sushi restaurant in Florida! Every dish from this place is extremely fresh & taste exquisite. My husband and i always do date nights here & the service is amazing. My favorite is the hamachi jalapeño, but the nigiri is always a top contender. Ambiance in here feels luxurious with dim lights & sushi chefs in view preparing customers dishes all day 10/10 LOVE this place.

It's a small restaurant. Wasn't very busy on Monday during lunch. The server was fast and friendly. The sushi was good. I had the Mayan roll. A lot of fresh tuna in the roll. I had the hamachi jalapeno as well. That was fantastic.

Heard they were open for lunch now, so went with a friend and we had a great lunch! Lunch specials come with a choice of soup or salad! Had a sushi special with salad, which was so fresh! We started with an appetizer crab Rangoon...best I've had in a really long time! Thru have a full bar, so I had a cocktail to start and it came in a really cute glass! I'm sorry, I was catching up with my friend and having too much fun, I only got 1 photo of my drink...will get the food next time!

After hearing all the rave reviews of Kaizen from friends, I knew I had to check it out so I met a friend here for dinner the other night. It's funny how people describe this as a "simple, little place . . nothing fancy" so imagine my surprise when I pulled open the door to find a bar area to the left and tables and a sushi bar to the right. It's not big or fancy but was certainly nicer than I was expecting . . the tables even had table cloths on them! I was quickly seated and began to look over the menu. They have a specialty cocktail menu which is nice as well as a large nigiri, sashimi and maki menu in addition to their Japanese specialties menu. Given I had just been Japan and their maki rolls are much more basic than the flavor combinations Kaizen has on their menu, I knew I was going to get a couple of maki rolls. I wish I had saved the receipt so I would remember the names of one of the rolls I had. One was a spicy tuna which was delicious and the other was off of their "creations" menu which also was quite tasty. A couple of dirty martinis completed the overall experience. If you drive- they have a small parking lot out front. All in all Kaizen surprised me with it's great food, drink and attentive service. You can bet I'll be back!

Mikado sushi is my go-to in Ft. Lauderdale but they are not open on certain nights. We ventured in on a Monday night about 6pm. This place was hoppin! The server was very kind. Thanked us for coming in and took us through the menu and offered his favorites as suggestions. They let us customize rolls as needed with no hesitation or feeling of inconvenience. All sushi rolls were very fresh and large bites. Their spicy tuna roll (not usually something I write home about) but this was unique and packed with flavor and texture. I would definitely get this again. Great experience and glad they are now open for lunch!

This place is about a mile from my house and I've driven by so many times so I'm glad I finally tried it. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a nice variety of salads with protein, a sushi menu, and full entrees (steak, shrimp, salmon). Their appetizers caught my eye as they had goyzaa, bulgogi beef, lamb. I had the seaweed salad with an unagi roll and a tuna roll. It was very good. My mom had the grilled salmon on a bed of spinach that was very good as well. The service was okay however they were pretty busy and I think the waitress was covering a lot of tables.
